Review
Web Album Generator is a nice album creation tool. It can be used to generate HTML pages that include all your pictures and a few different views for you to browse them. One of the nice things about this app is that it is incredibly easy to use. If you simply add the photos that you want to use and click on "Generate" and then simply click on "next" until the wizard is done, you will get a very nice and functional web album that you can upload to your web host or simply leave on your computer.
If you don't change any of the settings during the wizard and generate a web album that way, the result will be very good. Each album gets a title and a little description that you can customize. Then, the album displays thumbnails of all your pictures. You can customize the number of rows and columns and even the size of the thumbnails. When you click one of the images, you are taken to the gallery view. There, you see pictures at full-size and you can also click on "next" or "previous" to go back and forth between them. Of course, you can go back to the thumbnail view at any time.
In short, I was amazed at how easy creating a web album was using Web Album Generator. There are quite a few customization tools and you can later edit the HTML code if you want to add any extras. |
